If anything, BMW took some inspiration from Aston Martin (Rapide Concept) and Dodge Charger (rear fenders ) to design its own CS, but I think BMW will more than likely redo the CS before it hits the production. I just can not stand that front. The new X6 front looks sweet but this thing looks atrocious but I do like the side profile and the rear isn't bad looking either, although this looks like a very big car.

What the hell are you guys thinking saying that BMW looks like a lancer. It lookd nothing like it except for the 4 doors. Did you see the body lines on the BMW? How about that it's way longer and more stout? And how about the front view looking nothing even close to a lancer? It has the BMW signature grill and fog lights.

You all must be smoking crack to see any resemblence between the 2 cars.

Interesting point. Your own pictures show a big deal of resemblance if you look at front side. Don't just pick the grill. Look at the whole thing.

The radical change in shape coinsides with changes in Mitsu vehicles. That fuels my speculation.

Well, if it will make you feel better then the current BMW 335 as well as new X6 use/will use Mitsubishi turbos I also don't see any remote resemblance of the new Lancer to this BMW CS Concept...

They both have shark noses and downward angling lights, plus the scoops at the bottom corners.... but I wouldn't say BMW is "blatantly" ripping off the design.

What car doesn't have scoops at the bottom on each side of the bumper. The lancer has a big middle hole and the BMW doesn't. Yeah the headlights are at the same angle, but a lot of cars do that, it looks more intimidating. But the sides have no resemblence. The BMW has Charger-like body lines. I mean you can point out things that most cars have nowadays and things that slightly resemble each other, but then you can look at any car and find the same things.

I'd say it's more looking like a bentley continental, shape-wise.

Dude, where is your taste. Please don't show me insanely freakish cars. It hurts my eyes.

Exactly, it's not like someone ripping off BMW's kidney bean grille theme. They're not signature characteristics/shapes.

I highly doubt that BMW would rip off Mitsubishi. The two cars look nothing alike. You might as well say Subaru ripped of Honda since the STI and the SI both have "S" and "I" in the name.

LOL you claimed that BMW ripped off mitsubishi posting 2 cars that look in no way alike except for slanted headlight and 4 doors. Plus I didn't say I like the bentley, juat that it looks way more like a bmw cs than any mitsubishi. I think you shouls have your eyes checked.

I still believe similarities are there. Design is important, as Mitsu had 15% sales boost contributed among other things by this design. I'm glad BMW made theirs **** looking so that less normal people will fall for it.

**** looking? I'm beginning to think you just dislike the look of the BMWs. They're a luxury car and definately have an expensive look, whereas economy cars look like economy cars.

The Lancer looks like a shark, the BMW looks like a Hippo.
They are different looking as a whole.
