Luxury or not it does not have to be looking unattractive. Also yes, german cars are overhyped and overpriced.
Mystic is right, Hippo is a good analogy.

I think it's hot, looks low and mean. And, I don't see any Mitsu in it.

Eh, not even close. The BMW is sleek looking while the Lancer has an economy-car box shape to it

While BMW Concept CS looks more upscale, I just don't like the front of it. BMW can do much better than this. Come to think of it it does look like a hippo. And while new Lancer may be an econobox, I actually find the front of the new Lancer bette rlooking than CS.

I'd be willing to bet you'd get more positive comments and more women with the BMW hippo than you ever would with the oh so perfect lancer. Only someone who has never driven a german car would say they are overhyped and overpriced.

Someone I know used to say "BMW is a substitute for ***** enlargement". Reality is people who buy BMW where I live are in their midde age crisis (or cry-sis) period. These morons race you on street lights and ignore basic safety rules. So I came to realize I do not want to join their ranks and be ridiculed.
Also as a fact I know that in Europe BMW is cheaper - something has to do with import taxes.

Mitsubishi is also cheaper in Europe, as is Honda, Subaru, etc. I agree that BMW owners can be pretty bad (what's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? With a BMW the ****** are on the inside) but that doesn't speak ill of their cars. Some Mitsubishi/Subaru owners street race, act like their the hottest **** in **** town and are generally a dredge on society but that doesn't mean the cars are bad.

Wow some people can be ignorant as ****. Think before you speak. So people buy BMWs to compensate for the size and sports car drivers don't? Some people buy expensive cars because they are nicer and more convenient than ****ty eco cars. My dad is 50 and bought an X5 when he was promoted in 2002. He works for his money and likes to own nice stuff. He doesn't race people and likes to take care of his car, same way a kid with a lancer wants to keep his car looking nice

^Agreed, I find it funny how people in econo cars are judging those in luxury cars as if they are somehow superior (lol). I doubt anyone here would turn their nose at a BMW if they could actually afford one.

I am not against expensive cars. I am against UGLY overhyped and overpriced cars with morons behind the wheel.

THe only convenience I can think of is HUD and an active cruise control. Sure you can't have them on Lancer today, but I would not pay twice for the car to have them.

You mean to pay premium to own an overhyped car? I think i could do that but I certainly WON'T.

There is a lot of smack talking about BMW's and I bet anyone of you have never own one. I own both a Evo and a M3 and I prefer the M3 over my Evo anyday (excluding the power my Evo puts to the wheels-mods of course!)

looks more like a maserati than a mitsu. it doesnt really look alike. and you do realize this is a 2006 concept right? a whole yr before the new lancer was even unveiled.
