How hard to install new springs?

I have a US 2004 Lancer ES and I was looking to buy these.
How hard would it be to install these? My cousin has a garage and I'm sure he has all the necessary tools. How much would this cost to install in a shop?

Shop prices would depend. Probably a couple hours of work, so figure a couple hundred bucks, depending on hourly rates.

You could probably DIY it in an afternoon.

Did you order them yet? I'm pretty sure they come with step by step instructions...

In any case, the basics are:
1. Remove suspension from car (three nuts on top, 2 bolt/nuts at bottom)
2. Remove top nut (avoid getting killed by spring)
3. Remove old spring, put on new one (most likely using spring compressors)
4. Tighten top nut
5. Put suspension back in car
6. Wait a week, get an alignment

Why is that? Four years ago when I lowered my Lancer on Progress Springs, I had nothing more than a really good article that I read on this sight. You can't learn anything unless you try.

its cake man, just DIY....i've never done springs before, my bro used to do them on honda civics, but we banged it out....got a set of spring compressors from auto zone which is free....i think u just leave a deposit but you get it back...

basically its a few bolts to take the shock/spring out you compress the springs, remove the top of strut tower take spring off, install new one...its really simple, it will probably take two people to get the rears out and in, the fornts were very easy.
