Unless one is known to be inaccurate (I haven't heard that about either), they should be about the same. Get whichever you prefer or can afford.

im currently running them on my evo ix. I have had them for a year + now, and no probs... Just dont get the A/F guage... Its worthless!
I got the package deal w/ the 3 guage a pillar pod from autocityimports.com for $165
heres the link:
http://autocityimports.com/0305-viii...1301_2442.html
also keep in mind that the guage pod overlays the original a-pillar. It says it a replacement, but when I tried to install, that wasnt the case! Fits well! So what I did was call them, let them know that the a-pillar pod wasnt a replacement... They sent me another 1! so customer service is on point!
hope that helps!

Neither. I've heard bad things about prosport (accuracy issues and quality issues) and I haven't heard good things about glowshift either. I would go with the Zeitronix unit (and did with my lancer) since it uses high quality sensors and can monitor several things (AF, EGT and boost) at the same time.

My glowshifts work great. Had them for a year w/o a problem. +1 on afr gauge being useless.

Honestly, just remember that both brands are low-end cheapo gauges. If you want a quality option, get something good like Defi.

Prosports stepper motor is the same as the Defi's so they should perform just as well....

I used to calibrate aircraft instrumentation for the airforce as a summer job once.

Let me tell you that those ''low-end gauge'' will perform just as well as the big brand gauges. It doesn't matter if they are liquid filled, have a laser-guided needle or come with a trunk monkey.

Never forget that what ever the brand is(defi, glowshift, prosport, Greddy and the likes). They always get their components from the lowest bidder(who is usually chinese) and they only do the assembly work at their plant. Also, many brands just buy chinese built gauges and slap their name on it and sell them for 3-5 times their worth(250$ instead of 50$).

This logic applies to almost any ''tuning" product, just take a look at Megan racing's web site for example.(Disclaimer: Megan makes some very high quality products like their coilovers which are considred a total blast for their price. This is just an example.) Look at their fuel pressure regulator, silicone hose kit, blow of valve and crank pulley. Now type ebay.com in your address bar and look for those same products, you will see the same products with a different package and no megan racing stamp on it.

Another example would be fidanza another maker of legendary flywheels and other products, look for a Lancer short shifter(fits most mistubishis). Now look back on megan's website find a lancer shifter, its the same. Then, take a look on ebay, samething but without a brand name.

Summary : If you want to pay for brand names and impress carshow nuts, go crazy on the Greddy radiator hoses and the spearco intercooler. If not, shop intelligently and take your time.

My friend has a GlowShift RPM and it works great. They have great prices and lightning fast shipping.

P.S.: I just realise I wrote a lot of texte here fell free to use it and publish a book or something.

Fortunately there are still tuning products made in US and are not using parts from the lowest bidder.

Prosport gets my vote just because I have read tons of reviews on them. All great and they look like Defis which look bad ***. Super clean look and functional, not much more you can ask for in a gauge.
