Doesn't the RS have a titanium turbine for a quicker spool up?

I was thinking it did as well. I wonder if it is very noticeable?

I would have to assume it's noticeable due to the weight savings from the lack of optional equipment and the ability to spool faster...or maybe it's a placebo You think you're going faster, therefore you must be!

Hey, you're from SJ! Cool!

I've heard both that it bigger and that it is smaller that the GSR Titanium turbo. Don't know which is right. But I do believe it is different.

Both RS and the RS-II have Ti-turbos. It is an option on the GSR. Although Ralliart when they were the official UK importers said all of their GSRs had the Ti-Turbo also.

Whats the difference? Some like Autocar Mag say It really isn't an EVo without the Ti-Turbo. Others on the MLR say that they can't feel any difference. We will find out soon.

PJAL84,

San Jose is cool but I am moving to Hillsboro, OR to work at Intel. I have lived here in SJ for 2 years now. The weather is so beautiful here, the roads are awesome, and there are cool cars everywhere. I cruise to work on my motorcycle 90-100 mph on 680 and the cops leave me alone. Hell a month ago there was a Euro car gathering 1/4 mile from my house that I stumbled across. Sick S4's all over, some with FMIC's. Some nice WRX's (thought I would never say that!) Even a Motorex R33. That doesnt happen in many places.

Test drove a WRX the other day, Stevens creek Subaru had a **** load of them! (40-50) Felt really slow, I figured 225 hp would have a little more kick. My friend mentioned that they were dynoing around 170 hp. Seems to be verified by my but-o-meter.

Any way, big pay increase to go to Oregon (25%), cost of living is less, Its kind of a no brainer to move.

Reason for that is that the Scooby's turbo is factory set to 7 psi. Don't know if that's just cali or what. But anyway, my friend has one, noticed the same problem. So he spent $90 and 30 minutes on a boost controller. Now the turbo produces it's max 14 psi and.... OH MY GOD!!! the difference is night and day. certainely feels like 225hp now, and then some!!

ACD (with the three different settings) is standard on ALL JDM EVO VII (RS, GSR, etc...); however, the AYC only comes standard on GSR, it is an option on RS, or RSII....
