Hi,

Hope someone can help me with this. I was going to get gas yesterday and noticed that the door didn't pop open when I pulled the release lever.

I figure something that pops the door open must be missing, but can't figure out what it is/was. I was hoping someone can help me cause I'm not sure where to begin. Local dealer in the area doesn't know what the part might be or if they even carry it.

I might be able to rig something up if I know what it looks like so if anyone can snap a pic, i might be able to fix it temporarily. Anyone good at finding part numbers of what this is would help me as well.

mine sticks some time so i use lanyard on my keys to hold the lever up and pull the fuel door open with my hand.

 

there is a clip located inside behind the fuel door. It is located on the fuel door arm.

 

Is this a replacement item on its own?

 

mine broke, and i just when in with the piece and he knew exactly what it was.

 

k. ive got the little fuel door clip. can someone direct me on to where to install this, my local dealer told me that they don't print out the instructions.

on the fuel door next to the hinge there is a piece of metal with a hole in the middle. You put the clip on the raised metal piece. Hope that helps.
