Help, need a small annoying part

Alright so long story short, i got gas the other day and when i closed my gas tank door it made a funny sound so when i went to re-open it i noticed it wouldn't pop open. Come to find out that small little plastic/metal piece that allows the door to pop open and then stay close actually broke off. i drive an evo9 so bye chance does anyone happen to have an extra one of those pieces laying around that i could buy off them or something?

I put mine back on a couple times, always comes back off. F it, pay with a debit card and use that to pry it open. I've been doing that for a couple years

Yea if you don't mind I'd like to see what you did.

Thanks for all the input, I ended up going to a dealership since it was kinda near me and a pretty cheap piece, popped it in and it's working great now. However, after hearing it's a pretty common problem I should've picked up a couple more and tossed them in my glove box for spares.
