Question Lancer Parts Are So Expensive Why?

Just confused and irritated about this Can someone explain why our mod parts for our cars(Mitsubishi) are so expensive vs. other companies cars? My friend who owns a Toyota XB have more better deal on Mod Parts than my Lancer.
For example:
Greddy TI-C which would cost us hundreds of dollars when his only cost for 286.00
Can someone enlighten me? My friend was confused too Maybe monopolizing because of the Evos?

True. I wish our cars had that kind of support and hype.

I have an xB and I'm pretty sure that 286 only buys you a 2" diameter axle back exhaust.

im going to agree with amby.. lancer parts are pretty average and some are well priced considering how much parts are for EVOs, STIs, 350z, etc.. i mean i know those cars are completely different and more high end but im just talking about price
lets compare some prices of evo and lancer parts

taillights
Evo-ive seen them from $300-$450
Lancer-$100-200

exhaust
Evo-$500-$1000
Lancer-$300-$550

headlights
Evo-$600-$800
Lancer-$150-$400

i mean the list goes on.. yes i know the lancer is no evo but i mean these are basically the same parts just for different cars.. and these prices are just estimates from prices ive seen around online

i complain how much i want an evo then i think about how expensive aftermarket parts are and im much happier with my lancer because i can actually afford to mod it as a college student

just my input

A decent exhaust for an STI/WRX can cost anywhere from 1000$ to 1500$. Even an intake is 270$+.

Man, the parts for the lancers aren't that expensive..kinda cheap compared to parts for sports car. If you want the good stuff you gotta dish out the cash.

Uh Lancer parts are pretty expensive. Compare our manifold prices to other vehicles. Compare our pistons to others.

What pistons are you looking at?

That's right, Scion exhausts are just axle backs. Most Toyota's are like that. It's cheaper because it's a lot less metal to be used.

Lol, well it costs the same to make an exhaust regardless of how much power it makes.
