Hi. My '02 Lancer OZ currently has 73K miles on it, and I was wondering if there is a 75K mile checkup, tune-up, etc. required. I bought the car used and it didnt come with an owner's manual. If anyone could let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Have you changed your timing belt/water pump?

 

I haven't changed anything on the car. I've only put a couple hundred miles on it since I bought it. All I did was inspect the brakes to be safe, and then change the oil. But other than that I need to know what maintenance I need to start planning for.

 

timing belt, water pump.

spark plugs, maybe plug wires and coils.
Coolant flush.
Clutch.
Check springs, and bushings
Check and replace vacuum hoses
Check brakes, rotors, calipers, drums, brake booster, master cylinder
tires, alignment, balance

Those are the most important to do.

You'd also want to have your AC system checked out.
