What kinda hatchback? EG Civic? Ek9 Civic i love hatchbacks both EG and EK and i do like the volkswagons that come turbo.

 

No civics I don't think. I passed on that for my first car and will do the same this time around. I just don't like them that much. I'm actually starting to like the VW Rabbit a lot. Kind of like the GTI but no turbo and cheaper. But still 2.5L should sound mean.

 

what about a is300?

When I was looking for a car I was looking mostly at Lancers and 99-02 Inifniti G20's. I could never find a clean G20 in my price range so I ended up with my OZ. But all G20's have the SR20DE I just like the look of the 99-up. They are nice cars, some of the 02's are sport models which have a sportier interior like our OZ's have but they are otherwise exactly the same as the G20t. Great looking and driving cars and a more luxurious than the Lancer.

yeah, i would go for a vw over a scion tc. Don't get me wrong scions are nice and they make great power, but vw vs. scion tc the vw clearly wins in power. I don't know about in maintenance costs. Tc is developed by toyota which of course would cost less to fix.

 

I'm going to get my car from a dealer. I changed my mind and don't want used or anything from craigslist. Today I'll be out to test drive the tC, Rabbit, Smart car for ****s and giggles, and maybe some others I see while I'm out.
