Why cant people understand?
some people just think going fast is all it's about, i say its your car, u do whatever u want. As long as it's fun to drive. My friend just bought a 71 datsun 510 with less then 100 Hp and he always have a blast driving that car to the limit.
Why can't people understand what I want to do? I'm going to start adding parts such as exhaust, intake and headers an modding it as well.
But the people I work with are just so against it and keep saying not to do it and don't wate your time its a automatic lancer es and laugh at me.
I just want something more fun to drive with a little more horse power. Do any of yall get the same reaction?

i dont want to act like i have an evo I just want to be proud of my car and have it fun to drive...could care less if i go fast...well at least right now i dont care lol

Who says thats whats gonna end up happening? I put a turbo on mine, but still looks factory except for the rims. I'll never call my car anything than what it is. A 4g94T. Some people have different taste. And you shouldn't tell them to change their mind if thats what they want.
Personally if I were to trade my car in for something, it definitely would not be an evo. I would feel like I just modded my lancer anyway and still have the same crappy interior and nerve racking squeaks and noises.

Lol exactly. People are missing the point. Just cause its a AWD platform and capable of more power. Your still getting the same lancer almost identical from the inside except for engine. If its boosted and had a AWD system than theres actually not that much different. I love driving my Audi quattro.
