Can you guys help me locate various goodies( parts ) on ebay cause i wanna hook up my lancer and not spend too much cash So anything for the lancer on ebay would be sweet links please

 

The only things that I found for mine was a Short Ram Intake, exhaust, and euro tail lights. I bought everything that was listed. My car is n the shop right now, because some girl slammed into the side of my car and caused $5300 n damages. The day b4 I got all my parts n the mail. Tell me that that doesnt suck.

I'm gonna suggest you just wait for sales rather than buy most things off ebay. Generally speaking you get what you pay for. Often ebay items are made half-assed or of lesser quality. Whatever floats your boat though.

 

ALot of people have gotten their intakes from ebay and they have not had any problems honestly if you can get something for less which does the same job why pay so much for something with just a name on it?

 

About the strut bars has anyone sucessfully installed any of them?

 

I wasn't talking about name brands specifically. Intakes are simple parts too and it's hard for them to cause failure short of the filter material coming apart and getting sucked into the engine. I'm speaking more of parts that can cause problems such as no-name springs, chips etc.

 

What is your opinion on ebay strut bars?

 

FRONT STRUT DOESN't FIT unless you mod it. Look in your engine bay and you see this little bell shaped thing ontop on the intake mandifold. The strut bar hits that thing and makes a clicking noise when you drive. If you want mine ill sell it to you.

 

yes i agree the front strut bar does not fit, i thought i got a great deal for only 20 bucks, but it turns out this thing is a mofoing piece of ****. the thing makes this horrendous clicking sound because as nitrohead said, it hits the bell shaped thing. ur better off spending 89 bucks on the rrm one. i even tried to solve the vibration problem but putting a piece of rubber under it, and it didnt work. i even emailed the people and i got this woman that didnt know what she was doing and eventually stopped answering my questions. dont get this strut.

but i did get altezzas from ebay and those are fine. i dont have them in my pictures right now, but i was update pictures soon. i also got xenons from ebay and i havent had any problems with those also. my dad loves ebay so thats why we get stuff from there.

good luck buying the best quality, but cheapest items.
