Anything is worth it for the right price. What I paid for my OZ about 1 1/2 years ago, you can get a Ralliart now. an 02-03 OZ in good condition with reasonable miles is worth about $5000 at most to me. The 04-06 is worth about $6000 and I've seen Ralliart ones got for around $7000 in super nice shape.

Depends a lot on the market. Last time I went to the dealer for a water pump warranty issue, a salesman offered me $8000 as trade value on my 06 ES. Meaning they'd jack the price to 10K+.

The OZ Rally Editions are real nice Lancers. On the previous mentioned putting rims on the car, the OZ Rally Wheels are some of the strongest and lightest wheels you can buy, I suggest just a drop to get rid of the gap in the wheel wells. Good luck with your decision .

go for it - i had my '03 OZ for a long time before it got stolen ( long story - my fault ) and it was a great car. it was economical, fun, and great to drive. the only complaint i had were the seats weren't very supportive on the sides. Other than that i think it was a great car. you will not be disappointed

I LOVE my OZ rally lancer and i dont think you really can compare it to other "economical" cars out there, it has a nice sports look that is NOT ricey or cheap looking, mods are cheap and vast (internet is your best friend), costs/maintenance for the car is very cheap, and it has lots of potential when it comes to performance. I have driven my lancer for over 2 years now, and i really can't complain about anything on the car (just wish it came with HID's but thats a little much for an OZ line). The car will last and is made/manufactored well.

I can say after having one myself for a little over 2 years, I loved my car. It was my first car, but it did everything i asked it to do. I never modded it at all, except I got an alpine head unit for it, which made the stock sound system preform really well surprisingly. I just recently traded it in, but over the time I had it, the car was perfect. I'm only 21 now and I got it at 19 as well, drove it a bit hard when I had it, and it did well for what I pushed it too, as well as got me and all my friends everywhere, so if I was you i'd get it. I just need to sell off that alpine head now haha
