OZ rally tires on ES Lancer

Wanting to upgrade my 2002 Lancer Es wheels. Found a set of the OZ rally wheels taken off the OZ rally edition. They are 15' and the ES wheels are 14' I believe. The guy says they won't fit the ES, only the LS and OZ. Is this true?

Motegi and ADR make some economical and nice looking rims. MR7 is a popular choice on the Lancer.

That is correct, the wheels cannot be used from one car to the other.

Check out Tire Rack, we have a wide variety of wheels that will fit your vehicle. Just put in the year, make, and model of your Lancer and it filters what wheels will fit. You can even see them on your car! PM me if you see something you like

One neat thing I found out about Tire Rack when I ordered my Parada Spec-2's last month was that you can get tires shipped to a local installer (approved by Tire Rack) for mounting. So if/when you order new wheels and tires you could easily order another set of tires too and ship a local installer, bring your stock steelies for for mounting and have a nice set of beater wheels for salt and bad weather. Since you don't have your location in your profile I don't even know if you HAVE winter where you are, but around here it's pretty handy to have winter tires.

That is correct! The Tire Rack works with over 2000 nationwide installers that can service and install the tires you purchase over the net or phone. Many of the shops will allow delivery directly to them so you dont have to transport the tires. To see a complete list of installers in your area, click on the link:

Since the es has a bolt pattern of 4x100 and cant use the oz rims that are 4x114.3 does that mean that the OZ version lancer cannot use rims with bolt patterns of 4x114.3?
