that's what I thought...I wasn't sure if maybe the input to the t-case was front the front diff inside the transmission, similar to what would drive the passenger side axle on a FWD, but it's clear that it will not work...

Hi Guys, does anyone know if the 2006 Lancer quarter panels will fit a 2006 Evolution? I know the bumpers and hood are different but what about quarter panels?

 

Yes they fit but they'd require the hood and headlights to work.

 

Just getting confirmation, I have a 2006 Es so if I get evo 8 or 9 struts and shocks it should bolt right up

 

you mean the rear quarter panels, or fenders? why you would want to put anything from a lancer on an Evo is beyond me...

Yes, the rear quarter panels. Because the car was hit in the back and Evo parts are more $$ than lancer.

 

I thought you meant the front quarters/fenders. The back is completely different and part of the body directly, there are no removable panels.

 

On the first page it says the struts and shocks fit but on the earlier gen lancers you have to change the strut mount to the oz model? It stated the 2006 models use the oz strut mounts already?

 

Rear shocks on the Evo have no bushing...

 

i have a Lancer elegance 1.6 05
and been reading forum but still a new driver
so before i went and spent money on parts i wanted to just double check
would the Trunk from a Evo 8 acturally fit my version of lancer as the picture i see from a evo 8 seem to have straight bit at the bottom were the boot closes but on elegance its abit more rounded

or would a different truck be better

for a aftermarket steering wheel are these lancers 6 bolt as my steering wheel is too large and in way need something more compact

Can someone enlighten me as to how you would trade roofs? I am definitely interested in a sunroof, as it wasn't offered on the Lancer I am driving now and I miss the skylight I used to have.
