Yes but nota direct fitment you will have to do some modfication for it to fit.

-spoiler uses the 2 outside holes of your trunk, then you have to fill the middle holes. best to find an evo trunk and wing in your car colr and have 2 imo.

-exhaust system wont really bolt up. its a different downpipe since evos are turboed and ours isnt. plus in the rear for the muffler the pipe on the evo goes under the rear arm where ours goes up above. the pipe would sit real low to the ground

-headders? the evo is turbo our cars are not and that and the evo is a 4g6x series engine where ours is a 4g9x series. 2 completely different engines

-the evo is wider by about 4" so it wont fit unless you do radiator support, hood, fenders, bumper, and headlights. also then your car would look a little off balance with the wide part up front and nothing in the rear.

- front strut bar wont clear the intake manifold with the cruise control. the evo mani's sit lower.

so not really all direct fit.

thanks josh. great thread. its helping out alot. considering i'm a poor college student, ill go with the "filling middle holes" route. any ideas you can give me to make my OZ look a little faster/stylish? (remember, cant afford to drop 3,000.00 on a turbo until after my degree in school haha)

evo battery tray doesnt completely fit only the trans mount holes line up but theres no rear studs like the evo has under the fuse box therefore you need to drill a hole in it for a 3rd bolt...

-the trunk is a direct swap

-intercooler is a direct swap with a few mods or removing the crash bar and a
custom bracket for the upper mount

-evo fuel pump is direct fit along with filter sock (anyone that fits the lancer will fit the evo including walbro)

-the evo hood will bolt on but it wont match up to the stock hood latch , im pretty sure it'll clear the fenders though

-evo washer tank will fit if you cut the extra metal in the corner behind the headlight.

-evo tb will fit just need to rewire the tps and ditch the cruise, make sure you put the t/b gasket on right for use without cruise(theres 2 ways it can go on one for cruise one for without)

-evo rad brackets will fit

-evo steering wheel will fit

-evo fenders fit need the core support though to do it right, side skirts wont fit

thats as far as Ive gotten

have yet to confirm that but im 80% positive the difference in the core support center beam is mainly for the a/c fan clearance ,

the evo headlight mounts are what change the position of the lights for the wider fender section, where the inner fender aprons meet the core support its the same evo to lancer.

if someone wants to measure an evo headlight from bolt to bolt on the top mount and from the a/c condenser upper mounting bolt down to the lower front headlight bolt I can be 100% sure

I also know that the passenger side evo engine bracket box can be had from mitsu collision and is a direct weld in into the lancer fender apron so if someone can ditch the rear wheel drive part the evo engine is almost a direct swap

guys let me clear some things up.

lancer and evo hood catch are the same

the part where the hood catch bolts to on the evo is 4 inch more forward then the lancer meaning your evo hood wont lock if you stick it on your lancer as your lancer catch is 4inch back from the evo hood latch.

next the evo rad support is no where near close to the lancer. Its a lot of work to fit and actually sits about 2inch lower then the lancer one.

evo hood actually overlaps the top/fronts of the lancer headlights by a few inches.

evo engine will drop in provided you use the ralliart transmission

Not sure about that one. Mitsu part numbers don't match.

Correct. This is from the different radiator support on the Evo.

Pretty much. Installing the Evo radiator support means turning the front of your Lancer into an Evo: headlights, hood, bumper, fenders, etc.

evo hood actually overlaps the top/fronts of the lancer headlights by a few inches.
Correct. Longer front end on the Evo.

You can use either the Ralliart or 4G64 Eclipse transmission (any F5M42 transmission).

Mirrors??

Ok, so if I understand, any mirror that fits a Evo will fit my 02 Lancer OZ?.... Is that right?

I want new mirrors, but when shops look up my model they always come up with NADA. My issue is, if Evo mirrors will fit, why dont part manufacturers show the cross reference that says that. Wouldnt that mean that they could sell more items if more people know that it will actually fit??!!

Also, are the oem mirrors on the lancer and the Evo the same or are they different/smaller/larger etc? I have seen the Carbon Fiber covers or skins that fit over the mirrors, but again it always only shows fitting Evos. Would those fit on the regular lancer mirrors?

I didnt notice years on this thread. What year of Evo parts are being described in the first post of the thread? I mean if I call a parts place/junkyard what year of Evo am I asking for? Like the mirrors for instance, if they do indeed fit on my car, what year of Evo should I be asking for when I start shopping for mirrors?

Thanks guys.

MR592000 is the metal bracket that welds onto the passenger side fender apron that accepts the stock evo engine mount .

good news is it drops right in where the cruise control box is and welds over the fender apron bracing on the lancer thats already there since its the same as the evo, just makes the 4g64/evo engine swap look even more factory

Ok I understand they will fit.

Can anyone tell me if the evo mirror is DIFFERENT than the lancer mirror? Smaller/larger/etc? Or are they exactly the same?

I want to know if the Evo Carbon Skins/covers will fit onto my OZ mirrors.
