they wouldnt work since the evo rear struts are higher then the lancer/ra's but the front strut bars will fit

I'm confirming that the hks intake for the Evo 8 works on the car. It is an extremely tight fit, but it fits.

Looking at my buddies Evo 8 and my ES it looks like the strut bar would hit the throttle body.
