Auto door lock/unlock controlled by the ignition.

Auto door lock/unlock controlled by the ignition.

Hello all, I am here offering you the solution to your need to have your doors automatically locked and unlocked when you start or tun off the Lancer!!!

I went to the dealer asking for 2 things, disable DRL and auto lock/unlock the doors, I only got one!!

My wallet is hurting as they charged $1,300.00mxp(some $100usd) to do it, and after looking in Ebay I feel raped

O well here is what they did!!

Parts needed:

DEI 452T Door Lock Pulse/Double Pulse Generator
Tape
Knowledge of what wires to connect it to!!

O men I feel so raped!!!

How it is done!!

The 452T has the following wires:

Red (+) 12V constant power input
Black (-) chassis ground
Orange (-) activation input
Violet (+) activation input
Red/White (+) pulse length control (12V)
Green (-) 200mA lock output
Blue (-) 200mA unlock output
Green/White (+) 200mA lock output
Blue/White (+) 200mA unlock output

The ones we need and are connected to :

Red (+) 12V constant power input connected to thick red wire(see pic)
Black (-) chassis ground connected to ground
Violet (+) activation input connected to yellow(see pic)
Green (-) 200mA lock output connected to yellow/red stripe silver spots(see pic)
Blue (-) 200mA unlock output connected to grey silver spots(see pic)

In the following 2 pics you can see where the RED and VIOLET wires are connected, RED to the thick RED wire and the VIOLET to the not that thick YELLOW wire

The pics are looking inside the door for the fuses.

In the following 2 pics you can see where the GREEN and BLUE wires are connected, in the brown connector the Yellow/Red is the first from the top on the right and the grey is the second on the same side.

This pics are looking to the hood release (just a little up from the handle)

In the following pic you can see a little part of the top of the hood release handle.

It is so easy oooohhhhhh! it hurts!!

Hope this helps more than one!!

I know there is a button, but i am used to my Trailblazer and the wife's accord, they lock when you shift out of Park, I always forget to lock it, and living in Mexico City it is very important to have all doors locked.

A little more info on the install.

Hi, first step is to remove the following molding from the car:

Next is this molding, under it you will find the brown plug where you can see where the GREEN and BLUE wires are to be connected, in the brown connector the Yellow/Red is the first from the top on the right and the Grey is the second on the same side

If you look inside the fuse door you will find the thick red wire (under the white one same plug) and to the left the second plug from the top the yellow wire.
