100k miles

100k miles

so i just 100 k miles on my ride. what do you guys think i should do to ensure a safe ride for another 100k. done the usual oil changes, tune ups, just did wires and plugs, did the timing at 70k miles. any thing to be preventitive? i do use for work and put about 20k miles a year so dont want to be stuck ya know? irts an 03 lnacer oz

I just hit 120K last night. I been keeping up with the maintenance, which reminds me I have to do an oil change and plugs on my next day off. Just keep up with the regular stuff and do the timing belt according to how the manual states and you should be fine.

cool thanks man. so everything else is good huh? nothing to "just do it", like a fuel pump or alternatro or nothing?

I have 180k on mine and still flawless . In all the time i have had it nothing has messed up only once a ignition coil .

true me too usually, but since i drive a ton of miles for work, i want to make sure it stays clean ya know? Tow trucks aren't cheap.

tell me about it, I put 100 miles everyday to work, but I got AAA though to cover the tow truck, lol.

I remember placing the water pump and both belts at 100k but that's about it. Like everyone's saying, just keep up with the log book and you should be good.

yeah the power steering belt and the altenator belts. You should have done those when you had your timing belt done.

you could also replace your upstream O2 sensor, if you got money burnin a hole in your pocket and it hasnt been done before.
