Ok...does anyone know if there have been any recalls for the 2002-2003 Lancers?

Where can you check for recent recalls from Mitsubishi?

Agreed. I think I should have gotten a paint job on mine before I bought it. Seeing there were some scratches (especially around the door handle on the drivers side) and what notl

well actually pretty much any question people ask on the forums can be found online doing a search...I just figured who better to ask than fellow owners about recalls with their cars

Mitsu will not recall paint issues, because they will lose arm and leg in profits, and they are not really making that much too.

a recall is a serious problem, USUALLY a safety issue, like there was a tire company that had to recall a model of tires in a certain year because of a defect in its making, and so on, it usually has to do with the safety factors of a car, what happens is you bring it back and they either fix the issue directly or completely replace the product
