This isnt nesseraly a recal but it it a problem that everyone I know with an 03 Lancer with a maunal transmission is having. I have over 50K on my car when I was at about 16k I noticed a slight knocking like noise in my engine, that would go away when I put in the clutch. I took it in and found that my presumptions were correct it was a throw out bearing. A week after that I lost 5th gear. After having my clutch and syncros replaced I figured everything would be fine. Another 10K later i started to notice the knocking again and that it is very hard to put my car in to the gears when is is cold (second is near impossible). I talked to the service manager at the Mitsu Dealer and was told that this is a problem that I will always have. Im good friends with 2 other guys with 03 OZ's and they both had the same problem around the same amount of KM.
