What about calling dealers then asking for the evo VII then when they tell you that it isnt available you tell them you are gonna get the wrx if they dont have it soon? Do it once a week and if everyone across the nation does it maybe word will get to corporate that they are gonna lose sales to subaru.

 

i don't think the dealer themselves have the power to bring the car over, mitsubishi does

 

I was just hoping that by bugging the dealers they in turn would bug corporate bean counters to get them to bring it over.

 

Most of the dealerships i have been to the sales people there dont even know what the hell the Lancer Evolution is... so i try to explain to them but they just say "o i dont know"

They don't know what a Lan Evo is? Where are you from I go to that dealership and beat some sense into them. I know when I went to buy mine the dealer said that if the sales of the normal lancers are high enough that will provoke them to bring evos to compete with the WRX..... One of the big problems I would think is making an evo pass america safety standards, "which are the toughest in the world" I say give it at least two years before you see evos for sale "at least"
