New engine block

Question, what engine blocks would work with the 2006 lancer oz rally? I want to eventually swap to a new block that can hold 18 psi and can give me 300 hp and 350 tq. Has any one tried this ? I dont want to swap the drive train out so the evo block may be out of the question.

I would suggest you to use the search function, but besides that. There's a popular 4g64 swap lurking around the forums for us that has a few modifications being the most complicated an engine mount modification. Switching to the 4g6X platform gives you more room to get higher numbers since the engine is a 2.4 I believe. If you're looking to crank out those kind of numbers, expect to spend a lot of $$$. The few people that have cranked out 300+hp in our lancers are pretty rare. I know demon is around here cranking those kinds of numbers. But to seriously crank those numbers you need a fully built engine with internals and turbo. Lots of things to consider and research if your looking to do that. Cheers.

i was researching some of those possiblilties with a g64 before i now have to sell the lancer, and according to some of the guys over on the 3g forums those numbers are pretty reachable with an evo head and turbo alone......

lots of evo guys now are JUST finding out about the g64 and the capabilities of the 2.4l engine.
