I was never a big fan of them. I, too, used to feel that those who put one on just wanted to look like EVOs. But the more I see them, the more they are growing on me, and now I want one lol.

However, I would still rather use that money to get a performance part first. I'll worry about aesthetics later.

Mine was like $30...why spend $$$ on a useless mod. And it's not just an evo thing...Ive seen sti's, 350zs, scions, and plenty of other cars with them as well.

People swear like its going to lower performance. I really hope I can get that extra aerodynamics when I'm cruisin 25 mph in my neighborhood. The vortex generator doesnt even kick in until the higher speeds like 70mph+ So if evo owners dont race their car or whatnot then it serves no function as well aside for the cosmetic aspect.

To the OP I say get it. It makes the car seem more perdy. haha

VG will cause any lancer and evo roofline to grow.

An abs or c/f- like VG from ebay is also good& cheap. Just make sure you have some 17" or above rims -cause it'll magnify your OZ or any lancer roofline by a mile,; thus not enhance the look your striving for.
