Vortex generator
Vortex generator
I have a 2002 mitsubishi lancer OZ rally and I wanted to enhance it's looks, I already put rally armor mud flaps on all 4 corners and I was thinking of getting a vortex generator do you guys think it would be worth it?
I guess if you want to look like an evo, but are not ( I am not criticizing you, just a thought)
I do not think it will be functional and will just add weight and make your car slower.
Up to you? You can save your money for something else that makes your car faster or you can use.

As for looking like an evo , it's an oem option , I guess all of the wingless evos are trying to be es lancers :/ get over yourself.
It's funtional on any car that drives on the highway and as for weight, are
you kidding , it weighs less than a number one at McDonalds....

I'll chime in on this just because. Here is the deal. There are different kind of people, and different type of perspectives of how and what "Mods" they want to do to their car.
Now, if your into the whole "cosmetic" originality thing, then why not? It won't hurt nothing.
But here is the catch. It won't do anything either. It is a "functional" OEM part yes for use with the OEM wing to enhance downforce.
IMO I never put nothing on my car that isn't "functional". That is just a waste of of money to me. BUT if you want the "look" and the "cosmetic change" just to be different then why not? To each their own.
I would stay away from the "faux" carbon fiber VG's though, they yellow in the sun after a year or two.
