if ur making ur own, some people have used 3" pvc pipe, others have used exhaust tubing etc etc.

on GrandAms ppl that have made there own have used PVC pipe to there wheel well area so it was cold air and just crammed a K&N Filter into the bottom of it. lol but i dunno about our MAS systems...so

We use CNC mandrel bent tubing in our system and them powder coat them in gloss black, include the couplings and the additional fittings and filter for the car, they are on sale for $125.

All of the other kits we build we use 304 CNC mandrel bent stainless. The intake on the NT Lancer is an odd size that I couldn't get stainless tubing in.

If you do go this route make sure the piping is ABS. Just a FYI.

As I stated before guys use ABS not pvc. PVC could become warped after being in the engine bay for too long. It is not made for high temp endurance. I is better to be safe than sorry. Many DSMer's have made their own homemade version of a hard turbo intake pipe...and all have used abs. The ones that used pvc ended up with some malformed pipe. Plus you do not want to be breathing in any poly vynile (sp?)chloride if it decides to melt, very toxic.
