ets intake?

Im looking to upgrade my intake on my evo. I heard the ets intake is the best to buy, with the most hp gain. It runs about $208.

let me know!

thanks in advance!

The reviews I have read convinced me to buy the Perin intake. It seemed to help the spool and i love the sound when excelerating. The bov is a bit louder too.

By intake do you mean just the filter or the piping too. I have the ETS piping and filter, I really dont have much to compare it to but it seems decent.

I had an ets intake on my stock turbo setup and still have it but adapted to my pt6262 and still made a lot of power even for being a 3in intake with maf

perrin and apexi filters are probably the two most highly regarded filters for an evo

they both put out excellent performance in the air filter shootout

and cbrd reviewed the perrin intake filter with great results

Yes, the best review is from this site. They ran 5 different filters during the test and if i recall correctly the perin was with in 1-2 hp of no filter at all. They do get a little dirty cause of the disign.

Its funny cause I used to be into dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. EVERYONE ran the foam filters on their machines even in the sand. The outside of te filter would be caked in dirt but the inside was perfectly clean!!!

so I think I will go with the perrin. I see it on websites for $249 with the hose and intake!

How much searching did you do?

SAMCO intake tube + Perrin filter is the winning combination IMO.

OP - Let me know which intake you decide to go with, I'm shopping for 1 too, currently looking at ETS as well.
