Need help with headlight bulb (picture)

Oh man Im so confused. I cant seem to get this bulb out of the socket.
Im thinking I have to do something with this tab but I dont wanna break it. Do I push it and pull. Do I pull it up? Do I have to do anything with it at all?

Just how it looks. You lift the tab and pull. Due to heat and grime that thing can get stuck. I suggest in the future getting some bulb/light grease and putting that on there. Just keep trying though and moving the socket side to side.
