sunshade removal

Does anyone know how to remove the sunshade from a 03 Lancer? I need to remove it so I can dye it with the headliner, since the headliner is already out (fixed sunroof). Thanks

wait, what? By sunshade, you mean the flip down sun visor, right? I cannot think of anything else that you might call a sunshade.... and you remove those to get the headliner out....

Sorry if I totally misunderstood

Sorry I should have specified, I meant the sunroof sunshade. That is what the service manual calls it. I got it out but I'm not putting it back in. Part of a plastic guide was broken off and it was allowing the sunroof to open fine, but when it would close it would slow to a crawl and get sent back to nearly open thinking someones hand is in the way. Plus, without dropping the entire assembly the only way to remove it was by pulling it all the way back, slightly pulling down on the sides to make it past support bars, removing the motor, and slightly pulling down to miss the copper piping the cables run in. By the time it was out of the car the back side of it was wavy from the manipulation it took to get it out and the piece that was broken disappeared so I said to hell with it. I might eventually get another and put it back in but I think I'll put some dark tint on the glass to keep the sun from cooking the inside of the car and that will be fine.
