evo x hood

Just wondering is there any type of performance gains on installing a stock evo x hood on a GTS. Since it is a lighter hood wood i notice a difference in how the car drives or i am wasting my time and money on installing one on my gts.

Waste of time and money if youre looking for performance gains. Short and simple.

So even with a lighter hood there will be no gains at all, I guess the only gain will be on the looks department

I believe the formula goes you need to remove 100 pounds for a .10 of a second faster. That might even be an understatement...

Exactly. If you want to notice any gains from making your car lighter you'd have to put it on a serious diet. Removing spare tire, going carbon fiber, removing ac, removing passenger seats, etc. Even then it won't be a phenomenal gain. Plus I don't think you want a tub for a DD.
