Goes good untill it gets floorboarded. As long as you have good tires and know how to drive in it you should be fine. Last winter I made it up every hill and we had a bad winter in NY. Now that the car is lowerd its not as good, but I still go anywhere anytime.

just becarefull on stock tires, when comes to stop or turns - you might be suprised...if you see snow go for a test and see how it handles where you got huge parking lot.

we just had a bad snow storm here in seattle, as much as i love my baby, i didn't trust it in the snow so i let it sit for 2 days. and when there was still a little bit of snow on the road, i still slided, thats with STOCK tires though.

We've had tons of snow here and as long as you don't do anything stupid and keep the revs low, you'll be fine. Hell there was some days when I was the only person on the road going anywhere need the speed limit.

yea stock tires suck. just gotta tap the brakes a few times when stopping & gas it lightly otherwise it'll just spin out

If you think you can do it then take up the lancer. If your worried about it then just take your brothers car. Its really kinda that simple.

Here in Sea town I wouldn't say we got snow- ice is more like it. I only had two problems. 1) Artemis is SO torquey that she'd spin tires even starting in 3rd at about 2K RPM. That being said 2) I got stuck on a bit of a hill in our University District because I had to stop on a hill in order to avoid killing some dumbass Frosh who ran into the raod.
Other than that she was very stable and comfortable in the weather.

your lancer will do fine if you keep your revs low like said above

I just 540'd mine on a , hit and slid to a stop backwards against a guard rail going 50mph on 80-90 tollroad- and came out of it with very minimal dmg. I might just be lucky but I was really surprised how little dmg the car had after hitting a rail at that speed. Anyways I shouldve been in 5th not 4th. Watch your revs in the snow.
