Engine swap in 03 oz rally

Will a 2.0L DOHC MIVEC I4 Engine be able to swap into the 03 oz rally?

Btw, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post haha =)

Find out the model number of the engine in the car and that of the engine you would like to install. Cross reference the vehicles they are fitted to as OEM.
That will give you a good indication.

Yeah that's the stock engine that's still in the car. The question is the swap.

The 4B11T is the evo x motor. The 4b11 was made for the ralliarts and such.

The only dohc that will work on are blocks that I've ever heard of is the 4g93 head but its not sold in the states. I think there's a post in lancer general page. other than that you could do a 4g64 swap and install a 4g63 head on it. there have been a few people who have done the motor swap on here, and the eclipse guys have been doing the head swap for a while. I don't think anybody has tried using a evo x head on our blocks. someone could correct me if I'm wrong

Hi, I'm also new, like today new. I have a 03 Lancer oz rally and just wondering what swaps where done because in the distant future I might go that route. I think I have a 4G94 from what I seen so far. Correct me if I'm wrong

Really there aren't any swaps that people do.

the ralliart uses the same motor as the evo x...the non-turbo 4b11 is in the base lancers...FYI the 4B11 is backwards...it would be like swapping a mid 90's 4G63 into a CT9A evolution...everything is reversed 180 degrees...

Oh ok, well do you have any suggestions on boosting the 4G94? is it even worth the time and money?

FIRST CLICK ON THE LINK IN MY SIG. Then head over to the turbo forums and read the other guy's build threads before asking about turbo parts and stuff. You'll learn that way. You won't get a warm reception if you go in there asking aimless questions.

Edit: fixed

Hay you don't have anything in your signature anymore. So that won't really help him. He just needs to read the sticky threads on the turbo section and the lancer general page.
