I'm still lost as to why you can't stay, Kensuke. We're all car lovers and you do have a cool car. There is the "Other Car" forum here as well and the infamous Off Topic as well. I see no reason for you to leave, just not live here perhaps.

Congrats on your new car though, I tried to get my parents to buy me an Eclipse, even base model, but they don't want me to get a sports coupe, they think I'd speed in it....which I do the Lancer, oh well. Congrats and see ya later.

hah, thx for all the support everyone... i'm plannin on still postin here, but prolly not as much as usual (obviously). i checked out the club3g forums (eclipseforums.org) and it seems to be a pretty good forum... people aren't quite as helpful as on here tho, haha.

hey, i wanted to ask for some ideas tho. i'm lookin to get some rims (prolly 18s even tho 19s and 20s will fit on the E) and since my ride is black, i'm lookin to go bronze. it'd be cool if u guys could hit me up w/ some rims to check out (even names.. i kno how to use google )
i'm really lookin into some 18x7.5 work emotion cr kai rims
my new lug pattern is 5x114.3 and i need between 38-46 offset (about the same as the lancer.. suprise suprise)

somethin around that size would be tite. i also saw some nice weds, but they only come in 17s. not too fond of the 17" look on the eclipse, but given the right rim it could be tight.

i'm also not lookin for cheaper rims like tenzo, adr, exel, etc... i really wanna do my car up right this time. it'll prolly be YEARS before i'll ever have an evo and ima keep this until then =) (maybe even after)

thanks in advance homies

pretty crazy that one lancer owner loses their ride and is upset, while others are praying for a chance to drop their car lol

to each his own...nobody's taking my lancer unless its being straight up traded for an evo

definitely keep posting here man...i've been a noob until recently and haven't come across you much, but don't leave for good

i'm also surprised at how quick you guys are to unload your lancer...

this was my first car. i walked out the door expecting a 1980 volvo station wagon and to my utter surprise i had a new car. i drove it everywhere... met my girl while i had that ride, had some interesting talks in it.. had interesting events in it....... yeah.... it has some damn good memories. my dream was to do everything possible to it and break 350 whp, but it was so far off. the only thing i really regret as of now is that i lost my rims... 250 hours worth of part time TAXED wages ($7/hr) in my rims and tires. i'd really like to hook up some 18x7.5 work emotion cr kai (bronze) in around a 23 offset (with rolled fenders, of course!) and have that nice dip in the rims... i'll never be able to save for rims again now.

i will say that this eclipse is a much higher platform for improvement; especially when you consider that the lancer was about 120 at the crank and this is about 210. i don't even need to work on performance for a while! the interior is bomb *** and the back seat is so small that i'll never have to give anyone rides

good luck to all of you w/ lancers! i hope for all of you to be boosting soon!
