Hey could you do this had a brain storm

ok we all know its quite imposible to get a evo7 over here and have it street legal but today i saw a totaled yellow oz and i had a idea say someone orders a left hand drive evo from say EI then they buy a totaled oz of the same color from a auction for like 2 grand then you swap all the id/vin tags to the evo 7 then you have a evo with a salvge title but still your not gonna sell it you know then you just need to know some one to get a inspection sticker or am i just dumb or could this work. you just say in repairing the car you used japanse parts or a evo kit you know???????????

Swapping VIN # = Highly illegal.

Anyone disagree? You'd probably be uninsurable if you got into an accident and your insurance company or the police found out.

Ya swapping VIN #'s is borderline fraud. If anything were to happen you'd have a mess on your hands. Not to mention most shops and dealerships wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft pole.

Do you purposely misspell everything?

It's not a question of street legal or not; the swapping VINs is the jail time part. Like felony. Federal pound you in the *** prison.

As it is, they run your VIN every time they pull you, in the event the car is stolen, so scratch that off your list.

Also, anybody who KNOWS about Evos (say, any of us, or other enthusiasts) would pick out an Evo VII because of the major face redesign that we've been *****ing about for over a year.

In short, this is becoming a futile thread and I foresee mods locking it soon.

I was just about to mention the spelling thing, did he mean wrecked?.....and remember, does, wouldn't, different? Cerfur sorry to bust your chops man but this thread should have never been started.

Honestly, I expected threads like these to disappear when the Evo 8 was released. Guess I was wrong.....

Honestly, just get an 8.........
