Don't make sense. I got much improved mileage on my GS-T with a metal UICP and K&N FIPK in spite of the fact that I turned the boost up 3 psi over stock. I’d assume it’d be the same for Evo’s.

I bet you the ECU is expecting the soft intake to lower intake pressure. In that case, with a hard intake the ECU would be dumping too much fuel into the engine, making an already rich condition worse. I’d say, get a SAFC if you are going to use a hard intake instead of stock. See how much it helps.

I have noticed that our fuel gauge isn't accurate. I can fill it up to half a tank, and 10 min. of city driving, it goes to almost a quarter, then hop on the freeway, 10 min. later it goes in between 1/2 and 1/4.

I don't think anyone has said this, but check your tire pressure in all of your tires. You might be running low... that could cause a decrease in your MPG.

unless ur runnin at 5 psi it shouldnt make as big of difference as he is talkin, very true however that low psi will cause a small change in mpg. I say reset the ecu, I have the rrm short ram and when i installed it i noticed no change in my mpg.
