im looking at this piggy back ecu adds 6+ foot lbs of torque from 3500-6500 rpms and it is laptop programmable and im just wondering if it would be worth it to get it or not i been told it is worth it but im not really sure if it is. If i could get any feedback it would be nice thank you very much.

2012 Lancer DE/ES/SE/GT RRM Piggy Back ECU - CVT Version

 

I have the rrm piggy back for my 04 es, and it is great. Noticeable difference in power, and response. Also gained gas mileage. Never tuned running the basic program. Only problem I have with it is low idle, sometimes turns off when parking. Not much of a real problem, for the gains i got.

 

why would it turn off when at parking and was it easy to set up.

 

My idle drops really low, when i shift to park, so occasionally it shuts off. But again it is when i park so it really doesn't concern me. Install was pretty basic, only tapping into a few wires and some soldering. If you are confident in your electrical abilities it is not too tough. If not i would recommend someone who is familiar with doing that type of install.
