1/4 mile times?
1/4 mile times?
I would like to know everyone's latest 1/4 mile times. Please include list of mods and if you're auto or standard. I know this is a lot to ask, but please help me out!!
I have an '03 es 5 spd, with only an AEM cai for engine mods. I would like to get the RRM piggy and a header in the near future but I want to know if its worth it. I would be happy running mid 15's. Is this possible from an N/A. If so, with what mods??
Thank you

I believe 15s are possible with NA, but you need to do a LOT of work. There's a thread on this already, and manual Lancers seem to be running 16-17.5 with various bolt-ons.
Now, for those of you who weren't blessed enough to see the last thread like this, NO FLAMING!!! Too many people came on to see times and said things like "wow that's slow. My car can do better than that. blah blah blah. If this thread is going to stay out of OT, it needs to be kept strictly to factual information in a positive light. Thank you and have a nice day

Then, there are some newbies, who don't admit of doing it, flawed their timeslips by docking off the R/T. They do this by saving face and not posting 60 footers and other such info.
EX: You cannot get 2.6's in the 60' and expect anyone to believe that you were able to walk into the low 16's stock NA. This is the usual time for a modern, stock Grand Prix GTP/GT.
Edit: UrbanKnight and WADADLIG are one of the few people who I respect have enough hard data, time, and practice to produce unbias timeslips.

HEHE thanks bahamut
My best time todate is at the bottom of this post. That was before I had a CAI. I am running with a different size tire now which I have been told will affect my times slightly for the worst.
Anyway once the RRM PB is installed & settled I will run again. I am trying to catch this cold air in Orlando before it leaves. That summer heat is going to be a killer. Hopefully within a month I will be able to answer this question.
MODS
RPW header
straight through muffler ( stock piping)
Injen CAI
WADAD
Forgot to add my B&M shifter and eibach springs. I didn't run with the springs either which seem to make the car more stable to me and I hope would help improve my 60's.... We'll just have to wait and see.

Best run on a 40 degree night with my temp guage halfway up to normal operating temp.

OK, so with a header (dont know which one yet
), and RRM piggy back, I might break into the 15's?! Please keep posting your times!! If I could get this car running low 15's and keep it N/A, that will be good enough for me!! If not, maybe i'll just put money into a body kit and make it look nice.
It's so hard to decide!!
Thanks for all the feed back!!

my auto runs a consistant 18.3 stock
then i got an intake and rimms i ran with just that at an 18.3 again lol
so now i have a full 2.5 all the way back exhaust, a throttle body, a header, and i am awaiting my newly purchased piggy back ecu. hopefully i can atleast break into the 17's. my buddy runs a 16.8 and i keep up dead even with him right now. he is a five speed manual i am an auto...
we will see when IRP opens up

well, my best time was a 16.193@83.45, 60'-2.269. stock rims (forget what tires), AEM CAI, RRM test pipe, straight through muffler, dropzone springs (before my shocks died), removed spare tire and jack. and my times have been slowly increasing...
