Would you buy this 08 gts?

Well im in need of a car since my 03 lancer is buring 3+ quarts of oil every few months. I'm not gonna spend anymore money on a car that is breaking down and probably only worth 2k, maybe less. Anything to be worry bout 08 gts models i believe first production year for this body style? correct me if im wrong. I'm planning to get a gts, just dont know which year and what to look out for. Help is greatly appreciated!

The body looks good, I would definitely get a car fax on it though to see its history, whether or not has been in any accidents or had any major repairs.

I would see if you can find at least a 2009, that's when they came out with the 4B12 (2.4ltr). Also, just FYI, if you can't (don't want) to drive stick, I'm gonna go ahead and warn you. Those CVT transmission's suck giant hairy *****. Ask me how I know.....

My OZ was a stick, and I got really tired of driving it daily in traffic to and from work. So when I was in the market for a new car I chose I go automatic. I am kind of a fan of my CVT. No complaints here.

+1

I'm really liking the CVT. Decent get up for a 2.4 and the MPGs are great.

Yea I was averaging somewhere around that area. I also only had the 4B11 2ltr. I was averaging somewhere between 32-36 mpg's on average.

Jesus, in a Lancer RalliArt? WTH? I get better gas mileage than that, was the tank for those smaller than the Evo's? I want to say my tank is somehting like 14.6 gallons.

The main difference between the OZ and Ralliart is the engine. The OZ has the 2.0L while the Ralliart has the 2.4L. The ralliart has mitsubishi's MIVEC system in it. compared to the OZ, the Ralliart has better stock exhaust, better suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes.

I was going to say the exact same thing. It's nice to have when sitting in traffic, other than that I wasn't a fan. But to each their own.
