Fender without Molding hole?

Fender without Molding hole?
Purchasing a driver side fender for my Lancer, it's an 03 ES. the description states "with side marker hole," which I get. But there's also a line that states "without molding hole." I am unsure what's the molding hole. Can someone enlighten me?

I just went to a junk yard and got a oem fender for cheap. I would go to a junk yard first and see first than buy one. Best bet is to buy an replica of an oem fender if you can find one at a junk yard
