Hey,

I've got a 96 lancer GSR and the problem is that when the key is on acc there's power going to the coils but when I crank it, no power at all?? So I left it for 5 mins to sit than cranked it up again and it started. So I drove it down the road and the car stop as if someone turned the key off and back on again. Has anyone had a similar problem to this before?

Could be a lot of things. Bad ignition switch, loose ground is where I would start looking

 

sounds like an ignition switch to me.
