Sold my Evo now I have a 2013 lancer gt

Hello guys I'm new to this forum socalevo does not have a lancer section lol like the title states I sold my 05 Evo rs and my 03 Mazdaspeed protege just purchased a 2013 lancer gt I live locally to road race motor sports and was wondering how well the timing controller and ecu works my commute to work is an hour both ways which was the reason for me selling my race cars lol but the lancer needs more oomph!

you're better off getting the car reflashed for the price of what you'd be paying them for the controller and piggyback. just my .02

true but once flashed i would either have to get another stock ecu or somehow reflash back to stock. with the rrm controller and split second ecu i can tune on the fly for changes or just unplug everything to go back to stock.

who offers these re flashes for the stock ecu on our lancers?

reliability when it comes to the rrm controller is hit or miss. on the older lancers the afrs would jump around and we would need to pull the battery cable to get the car to relearn the tune again. Hackish did the 04-06 ralliarts but I'm not sure if he does the newer lancers. Can the newer lancers use evoscan and ecuflash like the ralliarts do?

Read this as it seems to be more applicable to you. I haven't read it but seems to be some good info from what I glanced over.

Yeah people are critical of the cvt, but the flappy paddles sure do make up for it. Shifts on a dime even at full throttle... I love it. I hear an exhaust with the cvt results in a lot of drone.. definetly look into that.
