They are both the same, the wiring is just different.

That's why RRM usually sends it with manual and auto instructions.

i heard that the 2 ecu's are programed completely different...keep in mind and auto has to shift on it's own and would have different tasks and whatnot programmed into it...that's how i understood what i was reading...i may be wrong, but i wouldn't risk it...

I don't have ones for the PB unit, I have the entire wiring diagram for the car though, it's on my webserver, see link above (post 17 of this thread) or search for lancer wiring diagram pdf (or something like that, I think I should get a mod to sticky it somewhere...

i have the ones for car...thank you though...i borrowed that whole 3 book shop manual for the lancer from liquidlancer and it's got all that stuff in there. saves you a lot of money when it comes to installing all your own mods...what you don't know how to do, just open up a book...no middlemen

yeah, used to have a Saab, had the 9 book set for that car, I can't justify buying them for this car though, too new to do that much work on it just yet.

Anyone have the install manual in PDF form for the P/B unit? I'd be willing to host it (if RRM doesn't mind, think I'll email/PM them about it...)

I got a response back from Rock @ RRM. He would rather just have people PM or email him with the request and provide proof that they did purchase it instead of just having it publicly available.

what do you mean there is a delay now, damn the throttle response already sucks enough on mine I don't need anymore. This is the only car i have ever taken to the track and couldn't cut a .5 reaction with whats the deal with that?

I spliced mine and havn't had a problem yet, I used the inline crimp type splices not the ones that came in the kit. In fact I don't recommend anyone use the ones in the kit.
