Okay, so I have a 2012 Lancer SE and I'm trying to figure out what to do for an aftermarket exhaust. I'm sure this topic has been covered out there somewhere... but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I fell in LOVE with the Borla Ralliart dual exhaust and I need it in my life buy any means necessary ... I'm not worried about getting it on my car. If I can't get it on with some friends, I will take it to a muffler shop and have it modified to fit. All I'm worried about is the sound... Obviously the SE is not turbo like the RA. So if you have the Borla dual exhaust on your non-ralliart Lancer, does it sound as amazing as it does on the RA? (BTW I don't care if my cars not dual exhaust blah blah blah, as of right now it's aesthetics I'm after hehehe)

If it's gonna sound terrible without the turbo I'll get over it, just wanna know first

I honestly don't recommend doing the Borla exhaust on a base lancer. Granted yes you are looking for aesthetics, but the car will run absolutely horrible. And I couldn't tell how it would sound without a turbo.. But you will lose a ton of back pressure and it will move slower than it already does
What some people will do to their base lancer is get a ralliart oem muffler and throw it on for the dual look, and not mess with any of the mid pipe sections or cat.
