Not needed......

Look at the distances for stopping published for the Lancer in car magazines, especially abs equiped Lancers. The drums do fine, even with a large increase in horsepower. Some better pads and discs in the front is all you will ever probably need, performance wise.

I agree. I have larger rims now and the brakes in the front look a little small but fine, then you look at the back and the brakes just look fugly. IMO

you could always paint em to match your rims or your car. i painted mine silver, but i have a silver car and silver rims so it kinda flows nicely.

He means paint the rear drums. Yes you can do that, and how they look will be an individual taste. personally I think drums should always be black and as plain as possible, they dont need attention from anyone, lol.

yeah, i do mean the drums. you can paint the calipers up front too, but thats not my taste. i have pics in my profile, by the way. i just wanted to make them not stick out so much, that ugly black on my silver rims and car didnt look too good to me.

Petey, how do you like your MR7's I have those as well. Are yours silver or hyper black?

Do you not have sideskirts on your car or am I just stupid?

Where did you find the mini-lancer that's in your console?

Lastly, do you have a hood grille or is it open in the top and side insert?

Yea it will fit but it s gonna cost around 1000-2000 dollars for changing the drum to disc because the parts are expensive and you can only get those parts in Mitsubishi dealer.

Other than worrying about the brake fluid, why would it cost so much to do? Is there an aftermarket company or an auto shop that could produce the same disk brake?
