Hello. I live in mexico and have a 2004 lancer Ls 2.0l with an automatic transmission. I need to replace the transmission mount, but every shop I go to has the wrong mount. They give me the 2.4l mount or the standard transmission mount, in their computer system it is marked as the 2.0 automatic mount. But it is not. And autozone does not have the part, even though they have the correct one in their system.

I have been searching and found on ebay that there is a mount with part number 3557 that loos exactly like mine, and the shop has it as an outlander mount. So I took that part number to a parts store and they have it for order. But they say it is for outlander only. (I cant trust them as they have already sold me the incorrect part).

I have checked the official mitsubishi part numbers for both, and they are not the same.

Does anybody know anything about these parts? I am so confused seeing so many different part numbers that are said can fit mine, but the parts are not even close to fitting. The only one that looks close (in pictures) is this 3557 that no body can assure will fit.

I am looking at the pictures of both official part numbers and they look exactly the same, but why would the part numbers be different?
Outlander: MR961709 This is the one they have as number 3557 in some shops.
Lancer: MR961540 This is the one NO shop has, every shop has the 2.4l mount listed as the 2.0l mount.

 

I may be replacing the one in our 2002 lancer, auto also. most of the part numbers I see don't say auto or manual. I am wondering if they are the same. the ones that do say for an auto, look like all the others. I have not looked at the mount in the car yet to see what it looks like. all the ones I have seen that say it is for any auto has some round counter weight type of thing on it.
