pretty sure if you search you will find an intallation guide on here somewhere... basically remove air filter, remove bolts holding front half of filterbox, remove front half of filterbox, remove scoop, remove hose from back of MAS, remove bolts holding back half of airbox in, remove back half, remove MAS from back half of airbox, put new filter adapter on MAS, reintstall MAS to pipe, add filter to MAS.. not sure about the cf shield n stuff... i have RMR not RRM

Hey I have the RRM SRI. You first unbolt the airbox and can pop off the intake on top of the radiator/support(it is held on by plastic pins that pop out). You then have to unbolt it from the support underneath it to the fenderwall(you will see the bolts). You next have to unbolt it from the MAF but BE CAREFUL . The bolts are very tight and I actually cracked my airbox trying to get them loose. I would spray on some WD-40 and let it soak for a few minutes before trying to loosen them incase you ever plan on going back to stock and need it. After that you can bolt on the MAF adapter, slide on the CF shield, put the filter on and tighten it down. The Angel bracket that they give you gets attached to the lower right bolt out of the 4 connecting the MAF adaptor to the MAF. The other end of it (the angled end) goes onto a grounding bolt on the fenderwall, just back out the bolt slide on the bracket and the ground and bolt it back in. I'll be posting pictures.

Rusty...first off use actuall socket wrenches not a cresent wrench like in the pic above...a deep socket will be much more usefull.

now how is the carbon fiber heat shield attached since there are no screw holes for it?
does it just hang on the MAS?
if it does i will try to help you secure it so it doesn't rattle or cause stress on the MAS

There is actually a piece of rubber I forgot to mention that that goes on the inner hole cut in the CF shield. This prevents the CF shield from moving around too much, besides this the only thing securing the whole filter/MAF assembly is a angle bracket from the MAF to the inner fender wall. Yeah I wish I had used the right tool for the job, but its hard when your a college kid away from home, haha. The SRI itself is louder, as far as performance it seems to have less torque/bogs a little at low RPMs, but around 4000 you can notice a definite increase in pull.
