DIY ground kit

I have a question what are the difference between DIY kits and the one's like sunauto's hyper kit. I know the price is a lot less but are they more noticable gains with hyper's kit or other differences. I would appericate it if someone could fill me in.

Hopefully (and I mean hopefully) the name brand kits did the dyno testing on the respective car (i.e. Lancer, Evo, etc.) to determine the best pattern. From what I hear, ground kits sometimes do absolutely nothing unless tuned on a dyno to find the correct pattern and stuff. In which case, a couple of hp can sometimes be observed.

Import tuner advocates those grounding kits, and they hunt and peck for placement within the engine after each dyno runs.

Reg smoes like us. We have guesswork on placement.
