LOUD exhaust

ok, I just installed my rrm headers last week, they sound kick *** but...I want LOUDER! Now i know the first thing everyone is gonna say is to take off the 2nd cat and just run straight pipe. But seriously which is better sound wise 2.25" or 2.5"? Will I be losing any power going with the bigger??

just make sure you dont have a resinator on your exhaust, and youll be losing hearing in no time! Many people who have the greedy with the 2.5 say there is no low end loss, i have the magnaflow with the 2.25 i dont feel any low end loss. Well anything is louder than stock so go nuts. I would also recomend the rrm short ram. That baby sounds sweet and you can hear it in the car very very great sound!

I have RRM header, stock downpipe, 2.5" test pipe and 2.5" catback exhaust. that thing is damn loud.

People will say that you should go 2.25" unless you are going turbo as 2.5" will give ya no gains. I personally think that 2.5" is the way to go. Buschur racing developed and released their only OZ/ES/LS exhaust in a 2.5", which is designed for a NON-turbo (naturally aspirated) motor. It sounds fantastic. Deep sound, not whiney and farty.

If you want it LOUD, go with a downpipe, test pipe and catback exhaust. Its really up to you on 2.25" versus 2.5", but I'm going 2.5"!!!

edit: I had no power loss with just test pipe and catback. With the headers installed, I lost a tad on the low-end but it is worth it. Downpipe and PB ECU will address that for me I believe.
