I'm just looking for the best way to ship my wheels to the person who bought them, I just cleaned them, and took every bit of grease off them and i want them to be safe from getting scratched on the way to them, I measured them, and i would need a box 25x25x8.5 to fit them in, I have no idea where to get a box like this... Does anybody? Or if not, how should i package them?
Thanks for the help.

You'd be much better off shipping them individually, so they don't bump into each other. Almost every wheel I have seen shipped comes in a box about the size of the rim. Maybe 1/2-1" foam all around to be safe. Sometimes they band 2 boxes together, but anything larger than that counts as oversized and you get charged more. I think it's about $15-20 per rim in its own box with FedEx or UPS.
thats what i was planning to do, Each wheel needs a box that is 25inchesx25inches and 8.5 inches tall. That way i can put newspaper in there, or paper towels or whatever to keep them from getting scratched. Just, i need to find out where to get the boxes hehe.

Oh, I never stopped to think the tires might still be on them. Most box shops should have "wheel" sized boxes. If not, drive by a tire dealer early in the morning and see if they have anything before they throw it away.
i wonder if tires come in boxes though
i can jump int he dumpster behind discount tire and find out huh

Who needs boxes? My wheels were shipped to me with tires on them, and they just had some thick carboard covering the wheel, and then a **** load of package tape all over it. They were shipped UPS which is pretty rough, yet there wasn't a scratch on them.
Oh yeah and they were shipped individually of course.

I was thinking of doing something like that today. Funny you posted it. Probably be a little cheaper too since the only box i found is over sized.
