I purchased a used 2012 Lancer SST that has a F.a.s.t. key system. The fast key was not with the car. After trying to buy a keyless remote, ( didn't know what the fast key was then), we realized the ring around the ignition (wasn't there when I bought it) probably has the sensor needed to operate the system. The key guy has a fast key he can program, my question is where do I get the ring that goes around the ignition? Onelace said I have to buy the whole steering column! Please help!!!!!!!!!
